Blendart interprets in ceramic a "s-varnished" or "aged" wood, a typical scrapwood, and becomes the mouthpiece of a marked metropolitan spirit. Porcelain stoneware recreates the fascinating veins of wood in an origianal version: the extraordinary "painting effect" overlaps the original knotty nature of wooden material and then undergo further transformation, as if time had wanted to leave an indelible mark. The mix of these elements flows into an artistic and pictorial wood with a modern mood of raw flavor, ideal for floor and wall coverings in contemporary settings.
